We are a hobby breeder of Maine Coon cats, based in Dumfries, SW Scotland

Occasionally we have well-socialized, typey kittens available to very special homes. But be warned, many people find that just one Maine Coon is not enough!

Welcome to our website. We hope you will find lots of useful information here about our beautiful breed, but please get in touch if we can be of any further help. Our Facebook page Tigerfeet Maine Coons is usually updated weekly with lots of photos and information – LIKE it for regular news!

PLANS – UPDATED August 2018

Venus and Hudson kittens are due soon. I probably have potential homes for this litter. When kittens are old enough, please see my Tigerfeet Facebook page for regular updates and photos.

We may have a litter towards the end of this year.

Please note – we don’t sell kittens for breeding, and all of our kittens will be neutered before they leave for new homes.

Tigerfeet Kittens

Our kittens are ready to leave when they are 14/15 weeks old. They will be neutered, vaccinated, wormed, registered (GCCF), microchipped and insured.

Our Breeding Cats are health tested for FeLV and FIV. We also gene-test  adults to make sure they don’t carry the known HCM/PKDef/SMA genes.

We spend lots of time with the kittens, so they’re used to being cuddled and handled, as well as being used to all the hustle and bustle of an ordinary household. They will come with a kitten pack comprising care and diet information, 5 generation pedigree, insurance, and a supply of their regular food.

We prefer our kittens to go to indoor homes, or ones with an escape proof garden or run.

We offer a lifetime of support and advice, and hope that new owners stay in touch – we are genuinely interested in how our kittens are getting on, and love to get updates!

All of our breeding cats are GCCF or TICA ‘active’ (breeding) registered.

We only breed our girls every 12-18 months to enable them to have a proper rest period between litters.

Rehoming

Very occasionally we have young adult cats available for caring new homes. This could be a cat which has been returned to us due to a change in circumstances, for example, or a neutered ex-breeding cat which we feel may be happier outside a multi-cat household.

Please contact us if you feel you could offer a home to one of these beautiful adults.
